Life can change faster than you can take a single breath. When tragedy strikes we all pray that caring people will come to our rescue. April 21, 2013, Gloria Garcia and her daughter, Gianna, were critically injured in a crash on the Eden’s Expressway in Chicago when a semi trailer truck struck their vehicle, crushing it and engulfing them in flames. Both mother and daughter suffered life threatening first to third degree burns on their body and hands. Gloria is the family’s only source of income, and now even the near future is uncertain. This story doesn’t have to end tragically. Innocent people should never be forced to endure the struggles of recovery alone. Please help show the Garcia family what it means to be real heroes.
